CFD Alpha Tech is developing a new type wind energy generating device based on new concept. The company is currently in the prototype phase of the low cost WEC (Wind Energy Converter). CFD Alpha Tech WEC is generating energy from wind from the high frequency low amplitude vibrations of a static pole. The WEC device is typically 12 m high and can produce energy at low wind speed. The technology is entirely new and a patent has been filed recently.
